Assisted Living
Assisted living communities are a residential arrangement providing individualized care plans, assistance with ADLs, medication assistance, as well as housekeeping and laundry services. These communities may also provide residents with medical health care, but not to the extent that is offered at a nursing home. Communities differ in size, as well as in their care and service offerings, and can range from six room home-type settings to large condo-style environments. All of our providers below understand the importance of allowing residents to remain relatively independent and each community continually strives to maintain their thriving population of veterans and surviving spouses.

Adult Day Care
Adult day care centers provide a community-based environment where veterans and surviving spouses who are functionally and/or cognitively impaired can receive individualized care on daily basis. They provide a variety of structured social programs and comprehensive support services in a safe environment during the day, but are not designed for 24 hour care. The adult day care partners listed recognize the need of some families caring for veterans and surviving spouses at home for respite care or daily care to enable the caretaker to engage in other activities or work.
